Who am I?

Hello, hello. It is I, Harrison, your friendly neigbourhood head-banging nerd. I am an Australian with a penchant for Lego, music, fiction and more. To put it simply, I love to create.

You may have seen me extolling the virtues of Blaze Bayley on YouTube, or perhaps you’ve come from Instagram, where I’m constantly featuring Lego photography.

No matter where you’ve come from, or how new you are to me, there’ll be something for you here. I’m an incredibly unique/weird/contrarian person, so you can expect plenty of variety, lots of fresh , and the occasional peculiarity.

For example, here’s a rocking song that featured in the Resident Evil II remake, a game which received several references in The Adventures Of Tee Bone Man Chapter 9: Castle Communications.

Now this isn’t my first brush with WordPress. From May 2020 to March 2023 I was know as the Mad Metal Man (a name that has since stuck past the demise of the site) and I wrote about my love of music.

I eventually had to make the sad decision to cease posting. I was being drawn in multiple directions with my duties and my other hobbies and I didn’t have the time to properly dedicate to it. I was starting to do it out of obligation rather than because I really enjoyed it.

Fast-forward to now, however, and I’ve found myself with a bit more time up my sleeve for writing. Rather than restarting that endeavour however, I have decided to embark on this new venture. One that combines a few hobbies of mine into one.

I won’t be holding myself to such a strict regimen here though. While you may have to wait longer between posts, I’ll be focusing on the quality not the quantity. That’s a fine trade-off I think.

So anyway, whether you’re new here or you’re one of the many awesome members of the community I have the privilege of calling my friends, let’s have some fun.
